Tawuniya – Partner/Broker Experience Platform (PXP Portal)
CompletedAn enterprise-grade B2B2C partner platform developed for Tawuniya Insurance, Saudi Arabia's leading insurance provider. The application empowers independent external brokers to manage high-volume insurance portfolios, process claims lifecycles, track commission financial statements, and view business analytics through a secure, high-performance web architecture.
Technology Stack
Overview
The PXP Portal is a mission-critical enterprise broker application designed with performance, strict data security, and long-term maintainability in mind. It serves as an independent external channel where brokers securely process policy search criteria, initiate real-time claims validations, review complex monthly financial accounting sheets, and track performance commissions.
Architecture & Technical Approach
- Developed a single enterprise React application supporting both Partner Experience Platform (PXP) and Customer Experience Platform (CXP) through portal-based application architecture.
- Implemented JWT-based authentication with secure token storage and authorization across protected application routes.
- Built reusable shared UI components consumed across both PXP and CXP portals to maintain design consistency.
- Implemented internationalization (i18n) supporting Arabic (RTL) and English (LTR) layouts using localization resources.
- Designed role-based application rendering where authenticated users received portal-specific experiences based on source code (PXP) or customer ID (CXP).
- Managed predictable application state using Redux Toolkit for authentication, user profile, dashboards, and business workflows.
- Integrated multiple REST APIs through centralized Axios services with interceptors handling authentication, token expiration, and error management.
- Organized the project using a modular feature-based folder structure enabling scalable enterprise development and long-term maintainability.
Core Modules
Performance Analytics Dashboard
Developed interactive, data-dense broker dashboards displaying policy active counts, claims loss ratios, and monthly financial summaries using performance-optimized charts and KPIs.
Claims Lifecycle Management
Implemented the full transactional claim workflow including secure digital document uploads, validation logic check routines, tracking status milestones, and real-time updates.
B2B2C Policy Engine
Developed advanced policy search lookups, complex multi-criteria filters, renewal pipelines, and automated policy-driven claim triggering systems.
User Management & Access Management
Built broker portal onboarding flows and user management subsystems enforcing secure, granular module access based on tokenized Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
Statement of Account & Commissions
Implemented secure financial tracking sub-modules to render invoices, balance statements, payment history records, and automated broker commission distributions cleanly.
Impact & Contributions
- Accelerated application feature scaling speed by introducing a highly reusable, shared React component architecture.
- Maximized frontend code maintainability by dividing complex platform modules into isolated, atomic folder scopes.
- Enhanced application rendering speed by eliminating unnecessary re-renders through memoization and state optimization.
- Successfully delivered multiple major production updates through close sync cycles with enterprise cross-functional teams.
- Architected highly responsive UI frameworks providing smooth, low-latency experiences across tablet and desktop web resolutions.
- Supported the digital operations behind thousands of active brokers, claims, and policies throughout the Saudi Arabian insurance market.
